Systems Administrator
Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Midland, Texas. The role involves implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server infrastructure, demonstrating a deep understanding of system architecture and interdependencies. The successful candidate will be adept at using and maintaining OS and application deployment services and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Implement and provide support for server infrastructure • Troubleshoot system issues effectively and efficiently • Maintain a strong understanding of system architecture and its interdependencies • Manage and maintain OS and application deployment services • Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, driving to complete work efforts • Maintain a customer-centric approach, addressing customer issues with a positive attitude • Identify, suggest, plan, implement, and document potential procedural improvements • Collaborate with other IT team members to deliver the best possible solutions • Manage security solutions and perform security audits • Manage PKI, Certificate Authority, and public DNS record deployment and management • Work independently or as a team to creatively resolve problems in a timely manner • Interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including executive leadership, senior management, users, vendors, and subcontractors • Utilize various skills including, but not limited to, Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, and VMware. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator • Proficient in Cisco Technologies • Proficient in working with various databases • Familiarity with Dell Technologies • Experience with EO/IR systems • Proficiency in Linux Technologies • Knowledge of Active Directory • Familiarity with Backup Technologies • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware • Experience in Configuration Management • Experience in Deployments • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Enterprise • Experience with VMware • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technological environments • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
