Systems Administrator
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Seattle, Washington. As part of our team, you will be deeply involved in improving and maintaining our IT security systems, providing support to our help desk, and contributing to the development of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Identify and manage vulnerabilities in our IT security systems. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues as part of the Help Desk team. • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our Windows Stack infrastructure. • Utilize M365- Azure AD, VMware, Hyper-V for system administration tasks. • Develop and implement scripts using PowerShell and SQL Queries. • Apply in-depth knowledge of the OSI model and security applications such as IDS/IPS/SIEM. • Manage and maintain Network LAN/WAN/Routers/Switches/Firewalls. • Implement policies, preferably security but also applications. • Utilize automation tools such as Connectwise, Jamf, Kace, Meraki, Intapp. • Maintain accurate documentation and manage records effectively. Core Benefits: M/D/V ST/LT/Disability Insurance Retirement Plan: 401k match 20 days of PTO + 10 paid holidays Added benefits: Continued education -pluralsight for certs Wellness stipend up to $600/yr Fully funded Orca card Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in IT • Proficiency in using and managing Active Directory • Knowledge of Backup Technologies and their application in maintaining data integrity • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its application in cloud services • Experience with ConnectWise and its integration in IT service management • Understanding of OSI Model and its relevance in network communication • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and configuration management • Experience in Firewall configuration and management for network security • Proficiency in Document Management for efficient handling of digital documents • Experience with Hyper-V for virtualization management • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and its server operating systems • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
