Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to work for our company. Summary: + Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency + Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies). + Will monitor and manage system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. + Will maintain accurate records of system downtime and equipment inventory. + Will train DLA staff on the use of systems, software, and hardware. + Will install, configure, modify, and maintain systems, applications, and utility software. + Will diagnose and resolve issues with FPCS hardware, software, operating systems, databases, and network connectivity. + Will plan, develop, install, configure, and optimize all software and communication links, collaborating with DLA as required. + Will manage user accounts and provide support for system design, development, and implementation. + Will analyze system issues, determine root causes, and provide detailed resolutions. + Will provide cybersecurity support, including documentation, vulnerability monitoring, remediation (e.g., patching, upgrades), and ensuring compliance with favorable assessments and continuous monitoring requirements. Requirements: + Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies). + Must have 7+ years of professional experience in the systems administration field. + Must have 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems. + Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with FPCS, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting. + Must be willing and able to work on-site at one of the following DLA locations: Fort Belvoir, VA, Richmond, VA, New Cumberland, PA, Columbus, OH, Tracy CA. + Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10% of the time on an as needed basis.
