The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) task order. The ARAT team provides critical rapid reprogramming support for Army Electronic Warfare (EW) initiatives.
You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work independently while in support of on-going projects managed from the SEC ARAT Program Office.
Responsibilities:
As a System Administrator, you will be tasked with supporting the ARAT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity (ICS) Branch. Additional responsibilities will include:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides essential software support for the laptops, desktop personal computers, and printers, including the configuration of the hardware devices, testing new software and designing the structure of the network.
Perform testing of operating system software, networking software and also the computer hardware.
Managing the servers, which typically involves installing and upgrading the servers, as well as solving any kind of problems with the systems.
Monitoring and developing the procedures for backups of the servers.
Monitoring the system configuration, including the server event log.
Support administration of Windows 10/Server 2016/2019.
Will utilize network monitoring tools to troubleshoot networking issues.
Support implementation and sustainment of firewall technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active DoD Secret Security clearance.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or IT related field.
5+ years of relevant System Administration experience. 8+ years may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Relevant Information Assurance (IA) Certification, in accordance with DoDM 8140.03.
Experience in Windows Enterprise environment including Server and Desktop.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, information security/authorization profiles, or system administration of Unix or Windows networks/systems.
Experience in managing servers, to include installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
Desired:
An active DoD TS/SCI clearance preferred.
Cloud, Docker, AWS, Azure, and/or containerization experience.
Firewall technology implementation.
Linux administration.
RHEL.
CentOS.

Documentation.
Database software.
MS SQL Server.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
