The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. In this role, you will support system upgrades, implement security protocols, and provide technical expertise to ensure seamless operations across diverse environments. Required Skills: + Strong proficiency in administering operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix. + Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V. + Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. + Hands-on experience with system monitoring, patch management, and backup solutions. + Familiarity with Active Directory and group policy management. + Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. + Strong communication and documentation skills for technical support and reporting. Desired Skills: + Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. + Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks. + Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). + Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks. + Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevOps initiatives. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or Associate Degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
