Systems Administrator
Description We are on a quest for a Systems Administrator to join our team in Addison, Texas. The selected individual will be actively involved in a range of duties including troubleshooting within a production environment, maintaining system stability, and performing future migrations. This role is in the technology industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Carry out F5 load balancing to ensure the network operates efficiently • Analyze clusters, their ports, and configurations to identify potential issues • Design and implement the correct structure for clusters • Maintain productive communication with network engineers • Build new clusters and rectify any misconfigurations in existing ones • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the system parameters • Utilize IIS for various administrative tasks • Ensure stability of current systems to avoid any potential disruptions • Plan and execute system migrations when required • Identify and rectify any incorrect configurations that are causing thresholds to be hit • Focus on base configuration in clusters and completion of failover machines • Understand and rectify any issues with load balancing algorithms • Ensure ports are correctly set up and functioning as expected. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies. • Demonstrable knowledge of Citrix Technologies. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies. • Experience with Dell Technologies. • Understanding of Firewall Technologies. • Experience in AB Testing. • Proficiency in Active Directory. • Skilled in Backup Technologies. • Ability to perform Cluster Analysis. • Knowledge of Computer Hardware.
