Description In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong understanding of system administration, automation, and security best practices. Responsibilities: + Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. + Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based applications and services. + Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. + Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure secure, efficient cloud architecture. + Perform routine backups, system updates, and patch management on cloud environments. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. + Ensure cloud security best practices are followed, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance requirements. + Manage and optimize cloud resources to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Requirements + Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or in a similar role. + Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). + Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and storage. + Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet). + Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. + Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog) and logging solutions. + Understanding of cloud security principles and practices. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
