Description We are in search of a Site Support Engineer to join our team in the automotive industry. As Site Support Engineer, you will have the responsibility to manage and troubleshoot various software and hardware systems. You will be independently working within a matrix organization and will be expected to adapt quickly to changes. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Independently handle software installations, configurations, and patching for various versions for PC's, tools, and other client-side software. • Manage and troubleshoot Apple products such as MacBooks, Apple Business Manager (ABM), iPads, and iPhones. • Oversee Dell Hardware systems including Desktops, Laptops, Printers, handheld scanners, barcode printers, and plotters. • Provide basic troubleshooting for Server, Cisco Switches, Access Points and routers, APC UPS, LAN and WAN, and Biometrics devices. • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with peers on related topics at regular intervals. • Provide excellent service desk process knowledge and understanding of service level objectives. • Utilize Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for various tasks. • Develop excellent relationships and network within multiple organizational levels and escalate issues appropriately. • Translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for better understanding. • Demonstrate excellent technical, organizational, troubleshooting, problem-solving, budgeting, and time management skills. Requirements • Applicant should possess robust knowledge and experience with Dell Technologies. • Proficiency in Active Directory is mandatory for the role. • Expected to have a strong understanding of Computer Hardware. • Must be well-versed with Windows OS and its functionalities. • Experience with Mac OS is a significant advantage.
