Systems Administrator
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. The role is pivotal within our IT services team, where you will manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, assist with end-user support, and participate in IT projects. Responsibilities: • Ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. • Conducting routine system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups. • Monitoring system performance and responding promptly to alerts and incidents. • Creating and updating system documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures. • Upholding compliance with security policies and standards, and assisting in audits and vulnerability assessments. • Providing Tier 1 and 2 support to end-users by resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. • Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding tasks such as setting up and decommissioning accounts, devices, and access permissions. • Installing and configuring desktop applications and operating systems. • Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues for users. • Participating in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements. • Acting as a technical resource for entry level team members, providing guidance and mentorship. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or a related IT service field • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies • Familiarity with Firewall Technologies, specifically Palo Alto Firewall • Experience with Active Directory is necessary • Proficient understanding of Computer Hardware • Experience with Linux operating systems is required • Strong Networking skills are essential • Must have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
