Systems Administrator

The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA. SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies. Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT). **Job Description** *****Must be local to Quantico, VA (50 miles), to be able to go onsite as needed***** We are looking for a mid-level Systems Administrator to help manage and enhance our IT infrastructure in a DoD environment. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in Linux administration, CyberArk administration, Windows Server administration, Systems security, Active Directory management, SOP Creation and Review, a project progress tracking system (KanBan or Jira), and ServiceNow or other ticketing system. **Key Responsibilities:** + Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including but not limited to Active Directory account, OU, and Group Policy management, and software and patch management. + Install, configure, and maintain Linux server environments. + Administration/Management of CyberArk accounts, safes, and licenses. + Assist in the identification and mitigation of system/application connection issues and security vulnerabilities. + Help Implement and maintain system security protocols in accordance with DoD standards. + Perform system patching and updates to ensure compliance and security. + Provide essential support for on-call troubleshooting and remediation efforts. + Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and security. + Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in system administration. + Assist in functionality testing and demonstration as needed/required. + Submission of change request as needed/required. Note: This role may have other duties and responsibilities to include providing intern mentor support direction, cross functional system/application training and application transition support to operations. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** It is required that the Systems Administrator have the following qualifications: + BA/BS with five (5) or more years of relevant experience. + Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible). + DoD 8140 Level II certification or higher. + Experience working in on-prem/virtual/hybrid environments. + Experience/Certification in Linux server operating system/administration. + Experience/Certification in Microsoft server operating system/administration. + Experience installing/configuring/maintaining applications in a Microsoft environment. + Experience/Certification in Agile/Scrum methodology and processes. + Experience reviewing Nessus scan reports. + Experience in POA&M remediation. + Experience in reviewing AD GPOs and OUs. + Knowledge of regulatory guidance (DoD and NIST). + Good communication skills. + Good logical processing skills. + Ability to collaborate with others/other teams. **Desired Qualifications** + MA/MS. + Five (5) or more years of experience. + TS/SCI Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
