Description + Configure, maintain, and support servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure components. + Monitor system performance, uptime, and overall reliability, proactively addressing potential issues + Deploy, manage, and update on-premise and cloud-based systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS). + Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. + Ensure system security through regular updates, patches, and anti-virus tools. + Design and implement backup/recovery solutions to protect business-critical data. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex cases when necessary. + Collaborate with IT and business teams on system upgrades, projects, and strategic technology initiatives. + Maintain up-to-date system documentation, including inventories, configurations, and processes. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux distributions, or both. + Proficiency in cloud environments like AWS or Azure + Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking fundamentals. + Familiarity with tools and platforms such as PowerShell, Ansible, or other scripting/automation technologies. + Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
