Systems Administrator
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator, located in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and applying fundamental IT principles, resolving complex issues, and constantly learning to adapt to shifts in the dynamic environment. You will also be expected to deliver excellent customer service as you will be interacting with various stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Understand and effectively apply fundamental IT principles. • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to resolve complex IT issues. • Exhibit a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic IT environment. • Deliver excellent customer service by effectively interacting with both guests and employees. • Manage various operating systems such as Windows and macOS, and familiarize yourself with mobile OS and networking concepts. • Handle cloud services (Azure) and their integration into enterprise environments. • Utilize common IT tools and utilities for system monitoring and troubleshooting. • Exhibit a strong understanding of Office 365 environments. • Gain experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). • Develop basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). • Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and on a team. • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with a service-oriented attitude. • Manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Be flexible to work with a 24/7 on-call schedule. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Systems Administration or related field. • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies. • Demonstrable knowledge in Citrix Technologies. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is essential. • Experience with Dell Technologies is highly desirable. • Understanding of Firewall Technologies is required. • Competency in AB Testing techniques. • Proficiency in Active Directory management. • Experience with Backup Technologies is necessary. • Knowledge of Cluster Analysis is a plus. • Must possess a good understanding of Computer Hardware.
