What You Will Do:


The System Administrator will support a large IC Agency Security & Infrastructure Office providing technical support, systems administration, application administration, and system security to the Computer Emergency Notification System (CENS) application and database, as well as technical support and facilitating technical support via responsible parties through submission and tracking trouble tickets or contact with vendors to EM Emergency Communications systems.

Microsoft Windows workstation troubleshooting and administration. Troubleshoot network issues (frequency: daily as needed).

Perform server administration, to include admin console commands and execution. Support or drive server builds and upgrades as customer requires.

Assist in monitoring and maintenance of servers to ensure availability of services for end users.

Support Perform application upgrades and repairs (Windows/BlackBerry AtHoc Installation Warning System (IWS)-Alerts (emergency mass notification system)) (frequency: quarterly as needed).

Troubleshoot and repair operating system (OS) and hardware issues.

Perform weekly database updates.

Perform monthly health checks (databases, log size, log content, dead mail, etc.).

Maintain a log of system problems, errors, failures, and downtime metrics.

Assist the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) in installing OS and application upgrades (frequency: quarterly as needed).

Troubleshoot and repair all software issues (frequency: daily as needed).

Train customer on proper usage of software (frequency: daily as needed).

Assist ISP with installation security patches (IAVAs) (frequency: weekly as needed).

Create accounts and set up user specific access (frequency: daily as needed). Ensure customer log on (frequency: daily as needed).

Maintain group policies and procedures (frequency: monthly).

Update/create tables, fields, relationships, and indexes (frequency: as needed).

Acquire system accreditations (frequency: monthly).

Conduct audit and log reviews (frequency: weekly as needed).

Ensure personnel comply with system security policies (frequency: daily as needed).

Submit requirements within Service+ for any compute, storage, database, SharePoint, or Tableau infrastructure provisioning to be fulfilled by the UDS contractor.


What You Will Need:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI) Federal or DoD security clearance

Bachelor's degree

TEN (10) years of work experience with FOUR (4) years of experience in Systems Administration

Current Security+ Certification


What Would Be Nice To Have:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal with DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Administration

Knowledge of MS Exchange Server 2019 administration

Knowledge of Windows 10 Server 2016, 2019, 2022 operating systems

Knowledge of Blackberry AtHoc IWS-Alerts software Administration

Microsoft Systems Administrator Certification

Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

RSA Authentication Management

Printer network support and maintenance

Experience with NGA’s Certification & Accreditation process

Knowledge of using Xacta 360
