Description The NC State University Libraries is dedicated to empowering creative teaching, world-class research, and equitable and inclusive community engagement. Our innovative offerings support NC State’s faculty in exploring society’s grandest challenges, enable our students to become successful thinkers and problem-solvers, and help to enrich lives across North Carolina. They support over 36,000 users including students, faculty and the general public. The NCSU Libraries is responsible for over 600 devices. They currently have an SCCM backlog that includes pending software deployments, software troubleshooting, configuration changes, device enrollment and compliance updates. They are in need of a contractor who will be responsible for handling this backlog. Candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot software configurations, utilize powershell when needed, adjust group policy if needed and support desktop or mobile devices. This role will begin fully onsite with room for flexibility down the road. There may be room for extension, or the opportunity to apply for a full time role- not guaranteed though. Skills sccm, Windows, Active directory, Vmware, System administrator, Windows server Top Skills Details sccm,Windows,Active directory,Vmware Additional Skills & Qualifications SCCM Expertise: Deep understanding of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, updates, and configurations PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in writing and executing PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting Windows Group Policy: Knowledge of configuring and adjusting Windows Group Policy settings Operating Systems: Familiarity with various operating systems, especially Windows Active Directory: Experience with Active Directory for managing user and computer accounts Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve deployment failures and compliance issues Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
