Your Mission
As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Information Technology (IT) systems to ensure seamless operations. You will manage IT system infrastructure, provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, and optimize system performance. Your expertise will contribute to problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and more.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:Skilled in providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.Proficient in managing Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.Experienced in maintaining system integrity and implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability.Comfortable collaborating with internal customers, agency management, and technical teams to ensure smooth IT operations.Adept at resource utilization, capacity analysis, and system performance tuning.A Day in the Life Of:Oversee daily configuration and operation of IT systemsDiagnose and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues across various platforms.Provide user support and assist customers with accessing and utilizing IT systems.Troubleshoot and maintain integrity of network components while implementing system enhancements.Provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets to improve IT processes.Configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments, ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices.Must Have:Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (may substitute 5 years of additional experience for a degree).Experience with LinuxAssist users with system access and usageConfigure Cisco and Palo Alto switches and firewallsSupport IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting for client, server, storage, and network devicesSTE/STN complianceCWIP Cert: IAT Level 2Nice to Have:Red Hat Certified Engineer (Expert in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)Experience with virtual machinesConfiguring IPSEC tunnels and VPN tunnelingProficient in Ansible (Playbooks)Skilled in scripting (Bash/other)Automation expertiseCabling, documentation, and rack & stack setupIAVA patchingFamiliar with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)About us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
