If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Administrator with expertise in networking, storage, application management, virtualization, database administration, and containerization. **Required technical and professional expertise** Networking Skills: * Knowledge of TCP, UDP, and Ping * Advanced skills in iptables for access control and port forwarding * Strong capability to diagnose access issues Storage Skills: * Familiarity with HDD, SSD, NVMe, LVM, RAID, and NFS * Proficient in navigating Linux filesystems and understanding permissions Application skills: * Experience with Apache, PHP, and MySQL/MariaDB * Ability to install applications from various sources Virtualization skills: * Ability to connect VMs to networks using bridges * Experience adjusting VM configurations and resources **Preferred technical and professional experience** Networking Skills: * Experience with Netplan and NetworkManager for static and DHCP setups * Ability to set up Open vSwitch and Linux bridges Storage Skills: * Experience setting up MDADM and LVM * Extensive experience in navigating Linux filesystems and understanding permissions Application skills: * Extensive experience with Apache, PHP, and MySQL/MariaDB * Knowledge of implementing SSL certificates and user access controls Virtualization skills: * Experience with libvirt VMs and XML configuration * Extensive experience adjusting VM configurations and resources Database/DBA Skills: * Proficient in installing and configuring MySQL/MariaDB Container Skills: * Experience with Docker or Podman
