WHO WE ARE
Our systems administration teams play a vital role in ensuring that Lockheed Martin's vast IT infrastructure is working cohesively so that our engineering departments have all of the bandwidth they need to develop next generation, mission critical systems that our customers depend on us for. Our team of Staff level Systems Administrators play a leading role in this effort. They provide technical and operational support for the operation and administration of the Manassas Labs Infrastructure. Specifically, they focus on thin/thick-clients, domain servers and databases.

THE WORK
On a day to day basis, typical duties include:

-Performing Backups.
-Creating, updating and reviewing documentation
-Configuration management services.
-System patching.
-Monitoring and maintaining overall systems security and health.
-Documenting setup and install/maintenance processes and procedures
-System diagnosis.
-Troubleshooting and repair.
-Tech refresh and upgrades; technical meetings; maintaining, configuring and updating baseline configurations as per RMF/DFARS requirements
-Maintaining weekly virus engine and pattern file updates.
-Performing tactical systems support.
-Preparing for and supporting security assessments.

WHO YOU ARE
You have at least nine years of experience working as a Systems Administrator. In addition, you thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.

-5+ years of Windows and LINUX, specific to the administration and configuration of Security policies as related to both Windows and Linux servers
-Knowledge of VXRAILS.
-Active Directory expertise.
-Splunk experience.
-Currently has a Final Secret Clearance and has the ability to obtain Final Top SECRET Clearance.
-Possess previous experience with AV equipment.
Desired Skills:
-Be familiar with WSUS
-STIGs (infrastructure and tactical)
-Understands SCAP Scans.
-Active Security+ certification.
-Experience troubleshooting and/or configuring Windows servers to include SharePoint, Exchange and Active Directory
-MCSE/MCSA certifications a plus
-Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
-Familiarity with configuring VMs (Virtualization)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
