**Overview** SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR | TIER II (MIELS): Bowhead is seeking Systems Administrators to support a customer in Stafford, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and related software on proem and in the cloud. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance. + Install and maintain infrastructure services including: Servers, Storage, KVM, etc as required in support of enterprise operations. + Implement and manage security measures to comply with DoD/IC policies and regulations. + Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. + Administer and support physical and virtual servers across multiple sites. + Ensure proper configuration and health of server hardware, including storage and compute resources. + Develop and implement scripts to automate system administration tasks. + Provide advanced support for technical issues escalated from lower tier administrators or end users. + Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. + Collaborate with other teams to support system integrations and new initiatives. + Assess system performance and scalability to ensure infrastructure can support future growth. **Qualifications** + Associates degree, or five (5+) years’ of practical experience in system administration management. + DoD 8570 / 8140 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order. + Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified. + Cloud certified. Physical Demands: + Must be able to lift 25 pounds + Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time + Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED:Must currently hold a security clearance at theTop Secret/SCI level with Counter Intelligence Polygraph.
