Systems Analyst – Architecture

The Architect Systems Analyst will work directly with and report to the Sr. Enterprise Business Architect to provide system support to the portfolio of Architecture technology and to ensure successful short and long-term business outcomes for the organization. The Architecture Systems Analyst will serve as day-to-day System Administration support for the Architecture technologies as well as defining and documenting best practices for end users and administrators. The Architecture Systems Analyst will possess an interest in technology and architecture, a working knowledge of business and technical architectural processes, strong multi-tasking skills, along with basic project management, relationship management and facilitation skills.

Becomes the system subject matter expert for the business and technical architects and other stakeholders (IT and the business) to coordinate the architectural applications release management cycles, identify best practices and assist in the development and delivery of end user training.

Responsibilities:

Develops and manages documentation best practices for the Enterprise Architecture Navigator (EAN) and other architecture tools and process and/ or policy documents and training materials. 

Collaborates with the EAN Product Owner on training needs assessment and develops and delivers training to the business and technical architectures including other IT and Business stakeholders on processes and functionality for the systems managed by the LMS team

Create work backlogs, in collaboration with the EBA team, and execute via sprints ensuring stakeholders’ priorities are addressed and priority conflicts resolve to ensure quality and timely delivery of solutions, leveraging basic knowledge of human resources functional practices. Collaborates on small to medium size initiatives with the Architecture team.

Serve as the day-to-day EAN system support and key contact for stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and daily maintenance occurs. Serve as backup to the EAN Product Owner to troubleshoot identified issues and provide valid solutions for EAN users.

Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to translate business process into action through the configuration, testing, rollout, training, and on-going support of the EAN system

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of architectural functions and associated systems and tools.

Ability to build relationships and collaborates with others across a multi-location, multi-function matrix organization to achieve success required.

Meets assigned deadlines and proactively informs team members of work status, schedule and capacity required.

Able to prioritize multiple requests from different stakeholders and combine process steps into efficient work flows to achieve desired results.:

Asks thoughtful and relevant questions to ensure common understanding.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; and effective listening skills.

Passion for helping others leverage technology as a differentiator in self-directing careers and managing teams preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

Able to self-direct and work autonomously, prioritize workload.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years relevant experience required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
