Experience:
5+ years with:
Working Knowledge of interfaces/data sharing between systems (i.e. ADT/HL7, Billing transactions and hospital coding structures)
Working Knowledge of Patient Management, HIM and Patient Accounting operations and applications.
Working Knowledge of HIM vendor applications as 3M-CRS, 3M-ARMS/HDM and Meta Health-Charms preferred
Working Knowledge of registration and billing vendor applications from Siemens Invision/FMS, Eagle, Keane Patcom preferred
At least 1 year experience with standard office apps such as Microsoft Office.
At least 1 year experience with database tools for SQL and Oracle (such as Toad, SQL+).
Description:
Work in a large multi-facility health system supporting ICD-10 initiatives focused on Revenue Cycle applications utilized by the Patient Management, HIM and Patient Accounting departments. Occasional travel to client sites.
Responsibilities:
3+ years’ experience supporting healthcare applications. Including:
Providing user support and technical troubleshooting, liaise with vendors and other technical teams (i.e. server, storage, DBA, network, desktop, helpdesk).
Integration/exchanging of between systems
Hospital registration and billing applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar business tools
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with significant direct interface with clients at all levels within the organization.
Previous experience in a multi-facility health care environment with Patient Management, HIM and Patient Accounting applications; including integration with other applications
Must have enough technical knowledge to analyze and perform routine upgrades and patches
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Quality Assurance and change control experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
