As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the HVACR Americas business. You will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to production support of our warehouse management system, PLC controls, setup of mobile computers, running Windows patching, and maintenance of Windows servers, scan guns, and printers for the distribution center. This individual will work with Enterprise IT to ensure Copeland’s standards are implemented and work to tackle performance issues and upgrade systems and equipment as needed.

AS A SYSTEMS ANALYST, YOU WILL:

Work closely with Corporate IT personnel to maintain existing system hardware and software.Ensure the continuous operation of network infrastructure (hardwire and Wi-Fi), PC servers, PC desktops, production printers, data collection equipment, security systems, time clocks and bells, and communication systems such as phone and cell repeaters.Assist other departments in writing reports/queries/dashboards that address information unique to this location - these can be automated, regularly scheduled reports or ad-hoc queries.Work with other departments to continuously improve the operation, particularly if technology can be used as part of the solution - some of this would be local and some of it will provide a local perspective to corporate developers.Solve applications issues for the software that supports scanning systems, monitors, and sensorsSupport business critical servers, applications, and integrations used in all aspects of the operation. Prioritizing and resolving issues based on severity.Interact with warehouse floor associates to identify, resolve problems, and support their needsProvide off-hour, on-call support for distribution center operationsConfigure and install printers, scanning equipment, and other end-point hardware.Resolve issues relating to all endpoint devices, scan equipment, and printers used in the facility.Work with Enterprise IT to maintain servers and databases, coordinate patching and upgrades, and facilitate hardware installationPLC programming experience is a plus

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:​

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field with at least 5 years of IT experience. Will consider a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 5+ years of IT experience in a desktop or production support/PLC programming/network admin role. Must have strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to assess risk and prioritize work based on business needs. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel and all levels of the organization Broad understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server Experience with mobile computing and barcode printers and scanners Experience programming SQL/stored procedures and queries Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

PLC programming experience highly preferredExcellent communication skills in English / SpanishKnowledge of ISO QMSKnowledge of Manhattan WMS

SCHEDULE:

This is a first shift position with general working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

LOCATION:

This role will help support our new distribution center in Forney, TX. The address is 13871 W US Highway 80 Frontage Road, Forney, TX 75126.
