Position: Systems Analyst (Temporary)
Location: Denver, CO
Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary, IT Systems Analyst to join our team for 3-6 months. This is a temporary position, however, based on business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity for this role to become permanent. This role will be based in Denver, CO. As an IT Systems Analyst you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and managing critical IT systems. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, working cross functionally to assess business needs, implement improvements and drive IT efficiencies. This role will manage help desk tickets, solve computer problems, test cost-effective solutions, and provide support to ensure the efficient daily operation of the organization’s end user computing needs.
Compensation: Annual Salary Range: $70 - $80 K, depending on experience (Prorated on the duration of temp role).
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Own the IT onboarding of new hires, ensuring hardware and system access is assigned as
required for company role.
· Management of help desk ticketing, coordinated through Jira service desk management.
· Work on IT helpdesk tickets within the established SLA.
· Administrator of Confluence software.
· Administrator of Jira software.
· Atlassian development.
· Meet with internal stakeholders to help facilitate effective usage of the Jira instance.
· Ensure any changes to Jira changes are aligned with Atlassian best practices.
· Work as part of the Corporate IT team to provision and manage users.
· Help support network administrators.
· Provide a primary source of IT helpdesk support and escalations to include remote support for
the company and implement long-term solutions.
· Assist production team with the management of monitoring systems and alerting services.
· Assist with typical office endpoints like printers, laptops, and AV equipment.
· Develop, contribute to, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to standardize
IT operations and ensure compliance.
· Be a support for Denver asset management, provisioning, machine imaging, and inventory.
· Administrator for Desktop Central.
· Assists with Windows administrative tasks.
· Support IT security protocols, manage access control, and contribute to policy development to
maintain data security and regulatory compliance.
· Assist the IT Team with various system administrative tasks as needed.
· Other duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· High-level proficiency with Mac and Apple devices.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Solutions oriented.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
· Proficient with: Atlassian suite, iOS/Mac, Windows, Basic Linux, ManageEngine (Desktop Central), CrowdStrike, Splunk, Office365,
OKTA, and Active Directory.
Education and Experience:
· 2+ years of experience with helpdesk/service desk processes (ie. ITIL framework).
· Experience with desktop management systems, Desktop Central preferred.
· Experience with/understanding of Atlassian products including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
· Experience working in a SaaS environment or familiarity with Agile processes.
· A+ or Net+ certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
