Operations Monitoring Analyst
GDIT is seeking an individual to fill a position as a System and Application Monitoring nalyst on our team. Individual will utilize knowledge and experience to monitor systems and applications, conduct initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with other team members. Individual will support the integration of new technologies with monitoring systems to include deployment and decommissioning of monitoring agents.

3 - 5 years of experience in IT industry to include familiarity with WindowsActive Directory Services (AD, DNS, DHCP), Exchange, File Services, and Print ServicesCompTIA Security+ CE certification or another DoD 8570 IAT Level II qualificationDesired Qualifications
Associates Degree in Information Systems or other IT related field.Hands-on experience in Windows systems administrationHands-on experience in Unix/Linux systems administrationHands-on experience in system monitoring utilizing MS SCOM, vROps, vCenter, Aternity or similar toolsHands-on experience in supporting/monitoring/maintaining virtual environments to include VMWare and Hyper-VHands-on experience in supporting/monitoring/maintaining desktop virtualization technologies to include Citrix XenApp and Microsoft App-VHands-on experience in supporting/monitoring/maintaining IP voice and video services
