What you'll do...

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III to join our team at Walmart. As a member of our CTE team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Walmart's systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security. You will work closely with other teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions. This role is a level 3 position, and as such, you will be expected to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, as well as contribute to the development of departmental standards and best practices.

What you'll do:

Design, implement, and maintain Walmart's systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and databases.Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.Work with vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of systems and infrastructure.Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for improvements.Develop and maintain technical documentation.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Contribute to the development of departmental standards and best practices.Adhere to Walmart's code of conduct and follow company policies and procedures.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.At least 5 years of experience in managing and maintaining SCCM infrastructure, preferably in a large enterprise environment.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and its components, including client management, software distribution, and patch management.Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices, including incident management, problem management, and change management.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with other IT systems and technologies, such as Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
