As the System Architect for AppleCare Diagnostics and Repair, you will own all technical aspects related to the design, qualification, and implementation of hardware diagnostic and repair tools used during field service events. You will define new tools based on customer needs and system requirements and develop comprehensive qualification plans to address design, risk, and performance.
**Description**
You will lead cross-functional teams to design and qualify diagnostic and repair solutions. Key responsibilities include: Engaging with customers to understand their diagnostics and repair needs and translating these into technical requirements. Collaborating with product development teams to establish design and testing parameters. Proposing and documenting designs for diagnostic and repair tools. Coordinating with cross-functional teams for design refinement, development, and implementation. Working with UX designers and Solutions Architects to ensure seamless system integrations and successful deployments. Ensuring quality by developing and approving comprehensive qualification plans.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Expertise in translating customer needs and use cases into high-level designs.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with experts and manage complex projects.
+ Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and server-client design principles.
+ Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ 8+ years of relevant work experience.

+ Attention to detail, critical thinking, and willingness to challenge ideas.
+ MSCE/CS or equivalent relevant work experience required.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
