Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Architect, C. Advanced in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is integral to our team, where you will be primarily responsible for designing, managing, and executing cloud services and platforms. Your focus will be on supporting our infrastructure, applications, data, and other business needs. Responsibilities: • Coordinating and leading technology initiatives across various areas within the organization, including infrastructure administration, application development, data management & analytics, cybersecurity, external hosting, identity and access management, infrastructure, network, security hardening, privacy, and compliance. • Managing and executing cloud services, focusing on Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies. • Overseeing and managing a multi-cloud environment. • Assisting in the modernization and migration efforts for applications, data, and infrastructure. • Designing, upgrading, administering, testing, and modifying the virtual desktop infrastructure environment. • Managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 environments and other Microsoft platforms. • Identifying opportunities to refactor solutions for improved performance, cost, and efficiency. • Automating processes wherever possible and managing Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines. • Troubleshooting issues raised by developers and other architects, and presenting findings on new technologies and enterprise-wide issues. • Enhancing our infrastructure, application, and system monitoring solutions to prioritize system uptime. • Reviewing, advising, and designing based on risks, costs, benefits, and impact on the enterprise business process and goals. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and Microsoft Azure is essential • Strong customer service and communication skills are required • Demonstrated expertise in analytics and data interpretation • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations • Proficiency in design and benefit functions is necessary • Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team • Understanding of security measures and cyber security protocols • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and diagnose problems • Experience with automation and cloud technologies • Familiarity with system upgrades and process improvement techniques • Quality assurance and migration experience is mandatory • Oversight and decision-making skills are essential • Experience in application development and enhancement is vital • Understanding of transportation services is beneficial • Proficiency in GIT is necessary Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
