Systems Architect
DUTIES Implement digital radio in state of the art Complimentary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Technology using HDL tools. Architect low-latency proprietary wireless audio system Research and develop unique MAC protocol for coexistence with other wireless systems. Architect ultra-low-current proprietary wireless radio integrated circuit Design hardware and MAC protocol for proprietary 5GHz radio including Radar Detection and DFS Dynamic Frequency Selection. Research and develop adaptive active noise canceling system Adaptive ANC Architect low-current ANC processor in 130nm Complimentary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Technology. Test and debug wireless system integrated circuits with emphasis on RF and PHY subsections. Lead and manage proprietary wireless coexistence validation team with focus on analyzing, evaluating and enhancing RF coexistence performance of proprietary wireless integrated circuits for optimal user experience. Support Customer inquiries and development regarding proprietary wireless integrated circuits and active noise cancelling processor. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electronic and Electrical Communication Engineering, and ten 10 years of progressive experience in the architecture, design, implementation, debugging, and verification of chips, including three 3 years of experience architecting low power wireless and audio integrated circuits. Academic coursework or work experience must have included Experience architecting wireless MAC design for proprietary wireless systems in ISM band Experience solving RF coexistence issues among wireless systems including hopping and fixed-channel wireless systems Experience with design and simulation of digital PHY for 5 GHz radios including RF channel modeling Digital IC design with HDL and synthesis tools Experience with RF test and evaluation instruments such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers Experience designing high fidelity audio ICs including developing active noise cancellation audio circuits.
