Responsibilities Are you looking for an opportunity to support a joint customer program office responsible for acquiring and integrating the future ground architecture which provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information? This Systems Architect position is assigned to the customer’s Data, Architecture and Requirements Management Team. The successful candidate will assist the customer in defining enterprise systems architecture strategy, providing leadership, oversight, and technical guidance, and performing cross-discipline activities required to support enterprise architecture modeling, decision-making, and assessment of alternatives in relation to the customer's systems and initiatives. The Selected Candidate Can Expect To: Work with leadership and mission Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to lead the enterprise system and services architecture design, analysis, modeling, and artifact capture activities. The customer’s architecture artifacts are maintained in CAMEO. Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to identify architecture gaps/opportunities, perform detailed trade space analysis, model what-if scenarios, and document, recommend, and present complex architecture Analysis of Alternatives (AoA). As part of the AoA process be prepared to support risk analysis, cost analysis, capability, and technology gap assessments. Actively lead or participate in a variety of forums, including working groups, sessions with developers, and ground system engineering, integration and readiness events. Support modeling and simulation activities and participate in the development and review of customer strategies and roadmaps. Author, review, maintain, and/or coordinate a variety of technical and acquisition artifacts, to include plans, strategies, business cases, processes, policies, standards, ConOps, designs, models and diagrams, interface control documents, data flows, Request For Change (RFC) documents, schedules, training aids, tasker responses, and relevant web-content. Function within the customer’s agile management environment by actively participating in agile planning processes and events, and identifying, managing, and statusing tasks and dependencies. Qualifications Required: BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 8-10 Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly. Experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: system acquisition, enterprise architecture, systems engineering and integration, or project management of complex systems Experience and ability to work collaboratively with mission partners and stakeholders across organizational boundaries Working understanding of the end-to-end Systems Engineering Process Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital Engineering Experience using architecture tools (Cameo preferred but experience with No Magic, Magic Draw, CASE, Rhapsody, or Sparx EA may be considered) Working knowledge of how to create and maintain architecture products using DoDAF and OMG's Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) Ability to organize, schedule, and accomplish a wide variety of tasks in a timely manner Proficiency with Microsoft Office Desired: Knowledge of National Technical Means ground systems (IC and/or DoD) Experience with planning and delivering in an agile environment, and familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) SysML certification Experience with simulation and modeling tools (Simulation Toolkit, Simulink, Model Builder) Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
