The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.

 

The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, focuses on outstanding support to our nation’s most important Intelligence Community customers. 

 

SPA has a hear-term need for a highly qualified Systems Architect. 

 

Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.

Responsibilities

Systems Architects guide the design and development of solutions for complex applications problems, API design, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure services to meet user requirements and align to strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture.  Will design Systems of Systems (SoSs) and Families of Systems (FoSs) high-level constructs that address how multiple elements that are not necessarily homogenous can be designed to work together synergistically for a collectively optimal outcome.

 

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Guide the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures ensuring traceability to the Enterprise architecture and Enterprise requirements.Guide the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Guide the development of proposed changes to the solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology. Qualifications

Required:

Active TS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program; or at least 4 years of equivalent experience as a Systems Architect5-10 years of relevant work experience, at least 5 of which must have been performed in the Intelligence CommunityWorking experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community’s (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG)

Desired:
