A client in the Financial space is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Systems Architect to join their Desktop Architect team, focusing on Modern Workspace solutions, EUC, and Microsoft Intune deployment.
As a Systems Architect specializing in Modern Workspace, EUC, and Intune, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise solutions focused on end-user computing and device management. Your role will involve working closely with client stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and highly efficient workspace environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Intune, modern desktop architecture, and enterprise mobility management (EMM).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect enterprise-level solutions for Modern Workspace environments, ensuring integration with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and other relevant technologies. Provide expertise and leadership on End-User Computing (EUC) and Modern Desktop management strategies, including Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, and other EUC tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate them into scalable and secure solutions. Lead the design and implementation of Intune-based device management solutions, ensuring alignment with client security, compliance, and user experience goals. Conduct assessments of current IT infrastructures and create roadmaps for modernizing desktop environments, transitioning to cloud-based solutions. Develop and document architecture strategies, deployment plans, and best practices for supporting Microsoft-based workspaces, including provisioning, security, and compliance management. Provide mentorship to junior architects and other technical staff, ensuring high-quality delivery of architecture services. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, Microsoft technologies, and best practices related to Modern Workspace, EUC, and Intune. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, deployment, and management of modern workspace solutions. Collaborate with client teams to provide ongoing support for Microsoft Intune, including updates, troubleshooting, and optimization.Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in designing and architecting Modern Workspace environments, including the implementation of Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies. Deep expertise in End-User Computing (EUC) and modern desktop management, including Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and related tools. Proven experience with cloud-based device management, security policies, and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 solutions and technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) as they relate to end-user environments. Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and their integration into enterprise environments. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar certifications are highly desirable.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other EUC technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, or similar virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI). Experience in creating and implementing enterprise mobility management (EMM) strategies. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI). Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructures with cloud-based solutions.This is full time hybrid (one a week in King of Prussia. PA) role.
