What you'll doIn this role, you will determine specific network hardware and software requirements, such as platforms, interface/integration requirements, bandwidths, or routine schema's. You will develop and/or recommend network management and security measures, such as firewalls, network security audits, automated tooling or automated security probes. As well as develop conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise infrastructure/network solutions architectures, which include as-is, threshold objective, and as-built architectures. Other responsibilities are listed below:
Have the ability to consolidate multiple reference architectures into a single, coherent enterprise solution architecture and to identify inconsistencies, overlaps and gaps in architectural reference architecturesDevelop conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise infrastructure/network solutions architectures, which include as-is, threshold objective, and as-built architecturesDetermine specific network hardware and software requirements, such as platforms, interface/integration requirements, bandwidths, or routine schemasAdjust activities with designers of associated networks (e.g. DISA). Develop or recommend network management and security measures, such as firewalls, network security audits, automated tooling or automated security probes. Participate in network technology upgrade or expansion and associated transition planning, including installation of hardware and software and integration testingParticipate in generation of detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, or recommended technologies. Prepare architectural presentation and proposals for staff or customers.
