Pay: $26.82-$32.00
Job OverviewThe Systems Assembly position involves performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories. The role requires manual operations and adherence to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
ResponsibilitiesExecute routine assembly operations for structural and mechanical components in compliance with company procedures.
Utilize and interpret detailed work instructions and engineering drawings in English.
Perform assembly tasks related to hydraulic systems, Integrated Control Systems (ICS), Passenger Entertainment Control Systems (PECS), duct installations, and interior repairs.
Select appropriate parts, materials, and tools for installation and assembly tasks, ensuring accurate fitting and alignment of components.
Report job constraints such as errors, defects, or procedural issues as per established guidelines.
Conduct repairs, rework, and functional checks on assembled components.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards and safety protocols.
Utilize basic computer systems and programs to support assembly operations.
Be prepared for frequent overhead work and lifting requirements, standing for long periods, and working in elevated or confined spaces.
Handle hazardous materials safely and comply with environmental regulations.
RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience in assembly operations, particularly in aerospace systems.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
Knowledge of assembly processes, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and urgency in task completion.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 21-35 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and overhead reaching.
Contact with sealants and solvents, with occasional exposure to noise and elevated work platforms.
Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.

Pay Details: $26.82 to $32.00 per hour
