Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)MCB Quantico, VA Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required Education: Bachelors **Job Description:** The Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/System Administrator will provide direct support to the M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO) on MCB Quantico, VA **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Ability to execute problem-solving skills to troubleshoot SCCM issues, often related to client communication, software deployment, or network settings. + Operations and Maintenance Tier II Support for IT Infrastructure across multiple networks and security domains + Working knowledge of a Microsoft based IT Enterprise infrastructure and associated network hardware and software + Security/Information Assurance response to potential Vulnerabilities related to IAVAs and OPDIRs + Brief leadership on the health of systems, individual and/or enterprise wide. + Must patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective Microsoft Windows server and workstation systems. + Providing user support and guidance + Recommending and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications, and new equipment + Update/Create documentation as needed (user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick reference guides) + Interface with users to understand system operational and accreditation requirements and objectives. + Prepare all technical information necessary to support the system’s accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO). + Coordinate with the Information Assurance and Cybersecurity organizations for access to assets/scan tools necessary for system compliance. + Assist in developing documentation necessary for deploying, training, and maintaining the system through its lifecycle. + Integrate COTS/GOTS hardware and software as needed. + Provide user support and guidance. + Create Knowledge Based Articles **Required Qualifications:** + Active TS/SCI clearance + Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements for example, must have and maintain active Security + and MS Windows certificate(s) or equivalent experience. + Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience. 8 years experience without degree. + Working in depth knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to include: Support to accreditation efforts, understanding the installation, configuration, maintenance and management of SCCM. + Manage software packaging to include Microsoft and other platforms (Mozilla, Oracle, Apache, etc…), Installing, updating, and troubleshooting software applications across a network using SCCM and creating custom reports to leadership as needed. + Understanding task sequences, imaging, and operating system deployments. + MS SQL Databases and how they interact with other Microsoft applications such as SQL queries, backups, and maintenance. + Working knowledge of Service NOW (SNOW) for managing incidents, service requests, and change requests. + A strong knowledge of the Windows Operating systems to include Server and Workstation. Understanding AD, Group Policy, DNS, and how they integrate with SCCM. + PowerShell scripting using any/all of the respective plugins related to the applicable technologies for automation and management tasks. + Understanding the client-side deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SCCM clients. + Working knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statements. Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completion. + SCCM setups require precision in configuration, deployment, and management. **Desired Qualifications:** + Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures. + Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements is preferred. + Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Linux OS, Networks, MS Exchange, MS Lync, MS SQL Server, SCCM, SCOM, Service Manager, Networked Printers/Services, Distributed File Services, Data Protection Manager, MS SharePoint, PowerShell, JavaScript, Hyper V, SolarWinds **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience. 8 years experience without degree. **Physical and Environmental Conditions** : Requires Sitting (66%), Standing (15%), Walking (15%), Near Acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of fingers and hands (100%) Travel 5% CONUS. **_This position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
