If you’re a Systems Data Analyst, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Systems Data Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation, and visualization tools that support key business decisions. They ensure the quality and accuracy of solutions and follow data governance and prioritization processes. The role supports finance team members in developing skills for digital transformation, prioritizes work assignments, and partners with other finance members to improve analysis of financial results. The Analyst removes obstacles to success, supports business analysis activities, and participates in global projects. The ideal candidate has technical aptitude, analytical abilities, and collaboration skills.
What You Will Be Doing
Builds and maintains data models, reporting systems, data automation and visualization tools that support key business decisionsEnsures quality and accuracy of solutions and follows data governance and prioritization processesSupports Woodward finance members in developing the skills needed for digital transformation including mentoring on new systems or processes, presenting live global trainings and documentation, as well as contributing to change management effortsEffectively organizes and prioritizes work assignments with manager as well as documents project requirementsFollow departmental standards to ensure quality, organizational expectations, and audit requirementsServes as an integral partner to other finance members as well as cross-functional peers in the organizationActively removes obstacles to success including appropriate escalation and proposal of risk mitigation strategiesPartners with other finance members to improve analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results compared against budgets, forecasts, and prior periodsWhat We Are Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) requiredExperience with the following types of systems: ERP, data warehousing, reporting, visualization, workflow and/or robotics process automation-requiredAccounting and financial experience that includes progressively more complex assignments or projects preferredApplication window is anticipated to close 30 days from original posting date.
