Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Full-Time Early Career Systems Design Engineer in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will perform tasks and assignments emphasizing development of technical and strategic leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured framework within the engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and systems. You will also analyze customer's initial design specifications and recommends basic product specifications and techniques to satisfy customer requirements, develop, coordinate, and conduct trade studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and designs, recommend designs and performs testing to achieve required levels to meet product requirements, generate and analyze performance reports and process control procedures; and investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and able to work in a teaming environment and be capable of solving cross-functional technical problem.
The candidate’s support roles include: Collaborative designs, applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) frameworks, DOORS (w/Datahub) utilization for requirement management, systems integration, checkout, and demonstration for G&D and IRAD activities.
Candidate will support necessary team efforts to achieve successful demonstration of program development milestones such as Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR).
Applicant will have opportunities to perform a variety of SE activities while engaging with engineers across all disciplines.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require ability to obtain government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Systems Requirements management
o Requirement development, traceability, architecture, and Baseline experience
o Requirement configuration control, verification, planning and execution
• Experience with MBSE framework and development
o Familiar with MBSE Cameo tool
• Experience participating in requirements working groups
Desired Skills:
• Experience in missile design, development, and testing
• Experience with Agile frameworks
• Experience with Zuken, Creo or other modeling tools
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence
• Experience with Datahub
• Experience performing trade studies
• Experience with system analyses to bound requirements and finalize architecture
• Experience with system level flight testing

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
