Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Full-Time Early Career Systems Design Engineer in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will perform tasks and assignments emphasizing development of technical and strategic leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured framework within the engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and systems. You will also analyze customer's initial design specifications and recommends basic product specifications and techniques to satisfy customer requirements, develop, coordinate, and conduct trade studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and designs, recommend designs and performs testing to achieve required levels to meet product requirements, generate and analyze performance reports and process control procedures; and investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and able to work in a teaming environment and be capable of solving cross-functional technical problem.

Must be a US Citizen;  this position will require a government security clearance.  This position is located at a facility that requires special access.​
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 0-2 years experience or Master's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical, Mechanical, Aero, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.

· DoD Secret security clearance and considered a US Citizen.

Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Requirements Definition assignments: Requirements definition of achievable design characteristics for Missile, Special Test Equipment, software, IFS, and GNC. Synthesize design characteristics into an implementable system architecture. Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS. Perform trade studies and requirement analyses. Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology. Define tolerances and timelines. DOORS experience is a requirement for this position.
Desired Skills:
Cameo experience is an asset to this position.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
