Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to join our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team for the Systems Directorate in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security, Anti-Tamper (AT), Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. What You Will Do
Implement SSE AT solutions into RTX productsInteract with customer to define SSE AT requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectivenessSupport developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plansPlan and guide SSE AT implementations in customer systemsConsult and assist program line management with SSE AT architectures and issuesAttack threat modeling / Critical Program Information AssessmentsDeveloping top-level system requirements, and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystemUnderstanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policiesValidate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, usingDoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSSWork Location: Raytheon Tewksbury, MA

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti Tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded securityExperience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelinesExperience generating security (anti-tamper and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policiesActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.The ability to obtain and maintain additional program access as requiredQualifications We Prefer

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
