Overview: Are you a talented and motivated individual with a passion for systems engineering? We are looking for a junior to mid-level Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and leading design and development activities. Your expertise in networking and crypto equipment will be essential as you provide technical leadership and ensure the seamless integration of requirements, design, and technology. You will have the opportunity to interact with government personnel, tackle challenging technical issues, and contribute to impactful projects that support national security.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures.Develop system requirements specifications and lead design and development activities.Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.Guide system development and implementation planning through system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.Interact with government personnel regarding technical considerations and issues.Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables.Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.Manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.).Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation.Assist with the development and allocation of system requirements.Coordinate resolution of action items from various reviews and meetings.Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities.Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to system components.Generate alternative system concepts and design solutions.Define verification methods, processes, and evaluation criteria.Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and functional analysis.Review and provide input to program and contract work breakdown structures.Participate in interface definition and configuration changes throughout the lifecycle.Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements.Establish and gain approval for system or component definitions under development. Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

Required Skills

Security Systems Engineering; technical project management; vulnerability assessments and mitigations; engineering design reviews; cyber tabletop exercises for US military space systems; research and collection documentation for cyber attack paths; and systems engineering improvement including model-based SE.
