Responsibilities include designing new processes and systems, updating and enhancing existing systems, performing root-cause analysis and problem resolution, and meeting the needs and objectives of the County. The Department Executive 1 will perform a full range of system support functions requiring a technical computer support background. Work is performed under supervision.Required TasksMicrosoft O365 AdministrationAzure AD AdministrationFacilitate Windows server administrative tasksMaintain virtual environments and serversProvide logs and information to support county infrastructurePerform server maintenance and upgrades as identified by Network Management toolsUpdate documentation for system modifications and processesTroubleshoot and resolve network operations problem tickets dispatched by the Wayne County Service DeskOccasional off-hours support for system-related problem callsPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisorEducational/ Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline from a recognized college or university, and one year of experience in an IT environment with at least 100 usersORHigh School diploma; ANDThree years of experience supporting an IT environment with at least 100 users.
