As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Microsoft-based infrastructure. You will work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer and VP of Technology to align IT strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless integration and operation of Microsoft products and services.

Essential Duties:

Project Management:

Help to plan, execute, and oversee IT projects related to the Microsoft product stack. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

Implement and maintain Microsoft-based solutions, including Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and other relevant technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Microsoft environment. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with the Lead Systems Engineer and VP of Technology to help develop and execute IT strategies that support the company's objectives. Execute tactical plans for the company's technology needs that align with business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Ensure IT policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented and adhered to.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions. Manage some relationships with external vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Operational Management:

Contribute towards the support of ongoing operations and project initiatives. Support functional groups' unique technology needs, such as payroll, accounts payable, and design. Monitor the performance of IT systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Education/Experience:         

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Strong understanding of Microsoft-based technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud platforms.
