Visit arcfield.com for more details. Responsibilities In this customer-facing, team-oriented position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for engineering. Researching and develop emerging technologies to support diverse technology solutions for egress, obfuscation, and attribution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Architect/Design workstation Operating System (OS) user experience (UX) that utilize internet-based network solutions that adhere to the core principles of Information Assurance: (C) Confidentiality, (1) Integrity, and Availability. Design OS that enables obfuscated, secure anonymous internet access with managed attribution Point of Presence (PoP). Engineer solution that leverages cryptographic pairing of the client and PoP to enables multisite operations with zero detectable PoP signature. Take advantage of next gen technology in cyber security to protect infrastructure and user identity. Develop and implement a defense in depth approach to deploying OS and access points. Analyze network signatures to detect and report on anomalous behavior to ensure network traffic adheres to standard internet protocols and identify potential attack surfaces. Design modular, highly configurable operating system to take advantage of novel technological solutions. Build solutions with both a defensive and offensive cyber security mindset. Incorporate cloud base (e.g. Azure, AWS) technology to distribute points of presence using distributed systems principles. Qualifications Required Qualifications Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with a polygraph BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7 (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or a scientific, or technical discipline Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects. Technology Design – Adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. Ability to logically and systematically convert customer product requirements into total system solution the acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Ability to analyze and study complex system requirements, for example: Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition. Studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Experience with activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurements techniques. Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collection, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals. Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Desired Qualifications Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.  Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientist and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs. Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
