Job Description: 

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Belgrade, Montana. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in control programming methods and software development, along with the ability to create detailed schematics. Proficiency in general inventory management software and standard Microsoft programs is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

•\tDesign Hydraulic and Hydro-Electric Systems for our Products

•\tDesign Air/Hydraulic and Electric/Hydraulic Braking Systems for our Products

•\tDesign Brake Cooling Systems for our Products

•\tDesign Electrical Systems for the Control of Hydro-Electric, Braking, and Brake Cooling Systems, as well as Lighting and other electrical functions for our Products

•\tDesign and Program Controls for the above systems

•\tDesign and Program the HMI’s (Control Screens) for the above systems

•\tDocument the control and screen programs of the above systems

•\tBoard test the control and screen programs of the above systems

•\tBench and field test the control and screen programs of the above systems

•\tUse solid modeling software (SolidWorks) to locate all system components in structural models and determine routing of wiring, hoses, and tubes

•\tDevelop production drawings for the location of these component mountings

•\tDevelop parts and operator manual models, drawings, and Bills of Materials

•\tCompile bills of materials for issuing/charging, and assembly; and long-lead items lists

•\tDevelop parts and operator manual system control descriptions

•\tProvide troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance to service technicians and customers

•\tProvide assistance to sales in estimating system component requirements

•\tMonitor remote (Telematic) data as needed to ascertain system performance and problems

•\tAssist with improvements in documentation methods and procedures

Hard Skills

•\tProficiency with design (3-D CAD) software

•\tGeneral inventory software

•\tWorking familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics

•\tEngineering degree – B.S. Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, or other appropriate degree

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Belgrade, Montana.

Work Environment

Required to sit and stand at workstation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, can be severe and caution shall be executed with the use of PPE as required when working in the fabrication shop. The noise level when working in the office will be minimal.
