Description We are in search of a Systems Engineer to be a key player in our healthcare IT infrastructure in Lehi, Utah. This role is instrumental in managing, supporting, and integrating medical applications and systems with our existing technology platforms. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with System Administrators and the broader IT team to ensure seamless system functionality and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: • Design, manage, and support servers, networks, and storage systems that support clinical applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and diagnostic tools. • Integrate healthcare IT systems with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure to enable seamless workflows and data exchange. • Implement security measures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and HITECH, ensuring data privacy and conducting regular system audits. • Serve as a point of escalation for technical issues related to clinical systems, networks, and medical devices, working closely with the System Administrator to troubleshoot problems and respond to Help Desk tickets promptly. • Manage cloud-based services and ensure robust backup solutions are in place, including participation in disaster recovery planning. • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to identify IT needs and optimize system performance in both office and healthcare settings. • Ensure medical technologies function effectively to support patient care. • Create and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, standard operating procedures, updates, and incidents. Assist with reporting on system performance and compliance activities. • Design and configure the implementation of new processes and integrations into the IT environment, ensuring that security and compliance requirements are met. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related role • Demonstrable proficiency in Citrix Technologies • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies including Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory • Experience with Automation processes and technologies • Proficiency in PowerShell and PowerShell Scripting • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently when required.
