Job Description
As a Systems Engineer, you will conduct analysis, subsystem analysis, architecture/subsystem decomposition, requirements analysis, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of ground-based Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. You will exercise strong knowledge of EW systems and subsystems to develop system and subsystem specifications necessary for meeting performance metrics against a given set of signals of interest. Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving use cases, CONOPS, CONEMP, and TTPs. Participate in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks including classification and identification techniques. Conceive new concepts and approaches to resolve engineering problems. Identify existing or potential problems and provide engineering advice and guidance and/or direct a course of action to resolve engineering matters. Develop presentations for support activities and/or higher headquarters to summarize results of actions against predetermined plans, current status or plans, progress, deficiencies, and outstanding accomplishments. Research and implement state-of-the-art processing technologies tailored for application data processing. Debug and correct system-level problems and issues in conjunction with vendors. Develop and document overall System and Subsystem Level design, function, and performance criteria. Serve as a technical manager with internal/external developer teams within an Agile development process to guide development and design choices, balancing user needs and program constraints. Collaborate with other government agencies, support organizations, and personnel to analyze and manage system-level and software-level requirements and interfaces. Perform requirements analysis and definition; as well as allocation, decomposition, and traceability. Assist with maintaining, managing, and integrating requirements between various tools. Engage in model-based system engineering activities. Represent the program manager in technical and programmatic exchanges to refine concepts, use cases, and system requirements for new capabilities and features. Review and provide input to requirements, specifications, reviews, and presentations material.

The position is based in an office building a couple of miles off base at APG in Aberdeen, offering a hybrid remote schedule of 2 days remote per week unless customer meetings require on-site presence. Occasional on-site visits to the base and meetings with the Army customer may be necessary. There might also be times where travel to different sites, including NOVA, the South, Midwest, etc., is required. This role supports the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program, which has a strong history of success and a stable contract with 5 years remaining.
