Job Title: Verification and Validation Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to lead testing efforts for an autonomous system implemented in ROS (Robot Operating System). This role provides an excellent opportunity to work directly with the US Army's research and development center. Responsibilities + Own the V&V workflow for the product line. + Develop test specifications to verify software requirements with performance metrics. + Create and maintain test cases and metrics within MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering). + Develop and run tests using software, simulation, and/or vehicles to collect data for ROS-based autonomous ground vehicle systems. + Assist the requirements engineer and architect with the decomposition of complex software systems. Essential Skills + Experience in test case development from system-level customer requirements. + Strong experience in system validation and verification, preferably within vehicle controls, sensors, autonomous systems, and functional safety. + Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) and SysML (Systems Modeling Language). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working with cross-functional teams. + Familiarity with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) principles.
