Systems Engineer
**QUALIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience + Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance prior to start date with Leidos. (US Citizenship required) + Experience building, configuring, patching and maintaining Windows and Linux servers + Experience planning and executing the integration of services and appliances into Azure or other secure IaaS environments + Thorough understanding and experience with Azure Cloud services + Knowledge of basic networking and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, SSH, VPNs) + Hands-on experience reviewing and analyzing system logs and events to resolve issues + Experience developing and providing solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact development, test and production environments + Experience implementing and maintaining Entra ID and/or Microsoft Active Directory environments + Experience documenting standard operating procedures or other documentation to assist operations teams or end users + Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and leveraging automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions + Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA + Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills + Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence + Ability to obtain IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security + or CISSP within 60 days after start date of assignment.
