The Systems Engineer at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our IT team supporting efforts to provide our team members with access to a plethora of Computer Systems with exceptional up time, operational resilience and secure access. This position involves a deep understanding of many standard business systems and is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, motivated and detail oriented.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage System EnvironmentArchitect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Physical ServersArchitect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Virtual Servers and HostsArchitect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Telco SystemsResearch, Introduce and or integrate new technologies into our Environment Oversee and Manage concerns related to our Data CentersAdminister our Domains and ServicesManage, Modify and Improve our Active Directory DomainManage, Modify and Improve our Microsoft 365 Environment Manage Core enterprise-wide services and functions including email, document storage, File share, FTPProvide Support related to the environment representing your area(s) of expertise including Policy Planning, Education and GuidanceSecure our EnvironmentManage, Patch and Update Systems under your purviewBackup, Replicate and Secure Data Stored and Transported under your purviewHelp Design, Support, Test and Validate both DR and Business Continuity ConcernsMonitor, Improve and Document SystemsEnsure Monitoring, Reporting and other concerns related to Systems are coveredProvide Documentation of all Systems under your purview as well as continuous updatesEnsure Logging, Alerting and similar concepts are covered over systems under your purviewAudit Systems for compliance, patch level, OS version, threat protection and overall health statusInvestigate Issues and provide technical feedback to team members questions and concerns

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
RequiredMinimum of seven years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education, industry certification, and experience.Requires a strong working knowledge of VMware and Microsoft-based enterprise environments including Windows Server Operating Systems, PowerShell scripting, SCCM, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPOs.Valid driver’s license.PreferredBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field.
