Systems Engineer
Amentum is seeking systems engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. The degree of telecommuting availability varies with each position and customer. Schedule is predominantly a standard workday but at times flexibility may be required to support a surge effort or event. Some travel may be required. **Systems Engineer Responsibility Include:** + Supporting multiple USMC weapons systems by working in an Agile environment to identify/develop/validate/test systems requirements, support integration events, and provide consultation to USMC customers and sponsors upon request. + Applying skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Five (5) + Experience with Air Traffic Control, or knowledge of it and military experience. + Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. + Possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Operations, process improvement, system testing, model-based systems engineering, and systems requirements development/tracing. + Experience with the USMC, CAC2S, and/or GBAD is a plus.
