Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Systems Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture according to technical requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture. This role requires a strong understanding of both technical and operational aspects, as well as aligning delivery plans with project timelines and milestones.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.6+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture.Eligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree in engineering or a related field.Active TS/SCI security clearance.Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like CAMEO.Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role.Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, and TCP/IP.Work Environment
The individual will be part of a team of 160 engineers on the current program, working in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The role involves working with new and innovative technologies, offering opportunities for growth and collaboration. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $95.00
