Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are currently engaged in four lunar lander projects and are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Payload Integration Lead to execute systems integration and payload integration tasks. A solid background in space flight equipment and a comprehensive understanding of its workings are essential. This role involves communicating with both the customer and the internal design team, troubleshooting design requirements, component selection, and resolving issues to ensure proper payload operation. A strong foundation in electrical and hardware components specific to space flight is crucial for effective problem-solving.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Payload Integration Lead on systems integration and payload integration tasks.Communicate with customers and internal design teams to address and resolve design requirements and issues.Troubleshoot and problem-solve various design requirements and component selection.Ensure payloads operate correctly by addressing and resolving issues.Utilize a strong skillset in electrical and hardware components specific to space flight.Essential Skills5+ years of experience working within space flight products/projects.Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and their relation to the system.Understanding of space environments in testing.Strong skillset in electrical and hardware components specific to space flight.Additional Skills & QualificationsPayload Integration experience (manned or unmanned).Experience in systems integration with a focus on heavy payload components.Ability to break down complex problems, derive answers, and drive them to completion.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, aerospace, computer).Work Environment

This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.
